Columbus Animal Rescue has made great progress in the last year. Thanks to several generous donors, we have two new yards, with indoor spaces and will have two more soon. We take in an average of 8 dogs a month. The number of dogs that come in, most abandoned, many injured or abused, usually matches or exceeds the number placed each month, but once in this safe, nurturing environment, most recover quickly and are soon ready for their new homes. Thanks to Forever Homes for transferring our rescued dogs to select sanctuaries with strict adoption policies in several other states.

ONE LUCKY DOG: Scottie was nominated the luckiest dog alive by the DAG Board. Scottie was found in Columbus, under a bush and very badly injured.

Thirty donors made Scottie's surgery possible. Thanks to Columbus Animal Rescue, DAG,  Scott Lawson and Dr. Bradberry of Advanced Veterinary Care in Silver City, Scottie dog is now living a healthy and happy life in AZ. For more stories like Scottie's, we hope you will attend our fundraiser events and follow us on Facebook.
