For 35 years our organization has worked to alleviate animal suffering, in and around, the Luna County area. We work to improve the lives of rescues through a variety of programs, services, the diligent work of our volunteers and supporting organizations. With your support we can accomplish so much more.

Deming Animal Guardians Services

  • On-site no-kill shelter providing housing & care for dogs, cats & many other homeless animals.
  • Adoption via on-site, community events & foster.
  • Temporary foster placements.
  • Emergency pet food bank.
  • Spay, neuter & vaccination vouchers.
  • ......and much more.

Our 2025 Success In Statistics

  • 15,437 of volunteer hours equal to 7.7 full time employees.
  • 364 spay/neuter surgeries sponsored.
  • 10,659 lbs. of pet food distributed to the public.
  • 515 vaccinations sponsored at Veterinary offices.
  • 340 animals taken into our rescues with a 99% live release rate (adoptions + transfers/all outcomes including deaths and euthanasias).
  • To 2025, we have sponsored over 17,403 spay / neuter surgeries in Luna County over the past 35 years. Amazingly, the need is still great!
